Taking an innovative approach to attendance tracking software, DotEnablers developed a web-based application for MillerCoors using the latest RFID technology.

MillerCoors, a manufacturing company making beers, approached DotEnablers about creating a web-based event attendance software for their company. “We could not find any other solution out there that fits our needs. We just needed something simple and reliable to capture attendance and at the same time leveraging our investments in employee badges. We also needed something that is flexible, scalable, and customizable, “ said Jay Phomsouvanh, who is the project owner at MillerCoors.

With proven experience in software development and attendance tracking technology, DotEnablers has automated the process of event attendance tracking using RF IDeas pcProx Ethernet readers, a robust database backend, and web-based front-end.

“The requirements stated a network-attached and always ‘on’ attribute for the RFID readers. We engaged RF Ideas to provide a reader that meets MillerCoors requirements. We chose RF IDeas as our vendor because of their expertise in delivering proximity and smart card solutions to the market.”, said Marlon Bermas, founder of DotEnablers.

The custom software consists of two applications – an application running as a service that continuously monitors and interacts with network-attached reader devices, and a web-based application that acts as the main interface for the users.

The Event Attendance Tracking software is now installed and undergoing a pilot at the Irwindale branch of MillerCoors. “We are pleased to have worked with MillerCoors, and are committed to deliver and exceed expectations for the project.”, added Bermas.
